The mission of the organization is to provide scholarships and assistance for medical expenses to those diagnosed with cancer, receiving treatment for cancer or in remission to give them a new purpose and meaning in life. The application and criteria are both online.

The site offers one of the first scholarships to children who have been diagnosed with cancer. The application is on line.

Offers a free search for scholarships with a database of over 8,000 programs.

Stephen T. Marchello Scholarship Foundation
Awards up to 2500 in scholarships to one or more survivors of childhood cancer. The application is on line.

This site offers scholarship information specific to cancer survivors.

Matt Stauffer Memorial Scholarship
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults established the Matt Stauffer Memorial Scholarship to support the financial needs of college students who are battling, or have overcome cancer and who display financial need. These awards of $1000 each seek to honor the spirit and courage that Matt displayed in both his life and his battle with cancer. At the time of his death in January, 1998, Matt was a student at Williams College and captain of the men's varsity soccer team.

Marilyn Yetso Memorial Scholarship
The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults and the Yetso Family established The Marilyn Yetso Memorial Scholarship to support the financial needs of college students who have or have lost a parent to cancer and who display a financial need. This award of $1,000 will seek to honor the spirit, energy, and determination that Marilyn displayed in her life, her love for her family and friends, and in her courageous battle with colon cancer. At the time of her death in March, 2000, Marilyn was a loving wife, a dedicated mother to five, and a unconditional friend to many.
